Data Engineer (Maven)

TL;DR

Data Engineer (Maven/Palantir): Migrating existing ad hoc data flows to JWICS AWS for the USSTRATCOM J2 with an accent on automating data gathering and cleaning using Python. Focus on developing and operating a data management system for the intelligence enterprise using Maven Smart System and Palantir Foundry.

Location: Onsite in Omaha, NE. Active TS/SCI security clearance required

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate data management systems for intelligence needs.
• Automate data workflows using Python and other scripting languages.
• Build pipelines and databases to optimize data retrieval, storage, and integration across different digital systems.
• Implement digital solutions using the Maven Smart System and Palantir Foundry suite of tools.
• Collaborate with government stakeholders to develop, construct, and maintain data architectures.
• Deploy analytics programs and machine learning models to streamline data processes and visualizations.

Requirements

• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
• 8+ years of demonstrated experience in data or software engineering.
• 4+ years of experience with Maven Smart System/Palantir systems.
• 8+ years of experience with AWS big data technologies (S3, EC2), ETL development, and Data Warehousing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related hard science field.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
