What you will do

• Design and manage ETL workflows using Apache NiFi to support geospatial visualization.
• Monitor and troubleshoot real-time data flow issues within AWS and PostgreSQL infrastructure.
• Develop new NiFi flows following established best practices and version control standards.
• Interface with analysts to refine data requirements and translate them into actionable technical tasks.
• Programmatically manipulate and transform large datasets using Python and SQL.
• Support data quality, integrity, and performance optimization efforts across the platform.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required.
• Willingness to work onsite full-time in McLean, VA.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in ETL concepts, SQL, and programmatic data manipulation.
• Experience with API integration and data retrieval from external systems.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow and custom NiFi processor development in Java.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and PostgreSQL database management.
• Familiarity with geospatial data tools and basic data science concepts.
• Interest in integrating AI into development processes.
