What you will do

• Execute the full software development life cycle for the core Risk Engine.
• Write reusable, testable code and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Contribute to cloud-native SaaS strategy and software development best practices.
• Design and build high-performance, concurrent server-side systems.
• Collaborate in agile teams to develop technical frameworks and product features.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 platform reliability.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building Java backend software.
• BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals and coding skills.
• Experience with high-performance, concurrent server-side code.
• Proficiency with distributed systems such as Spark, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Cassandra.
• Must be based in Portugal
