What you will do

• Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Scientists to deliver product features.
• Translate product ideas into actionable delivery plans and oversee successful launches.
• Contribute hands-on to architectural design, implementation, testing, and deployment operations.
• Mentor teammates through actionable feedback, growth opportunities, and stretch goals.
• Guide technical decisions and ensure quality through a mix of unit, integration, and E2E testing.
• Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to evolve internal processes and the tech stack.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer or Engineering Manager in a fast-paced product-centric business.
• Full product lifecycle experience and ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of architecture, programming patterns, TDD, and unit testing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex ideas to non-engineering teammates.
• Ability to work from the London HQ 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with A/B testing and feature flags.
• Strong eye for user behavior and design.
