What you will do
- Lead a cross-functional team of engineers, collaborating with Product Managers, Designers, and Data Scientists to deliver product features.
- Translate product ideas into actionable delivery plans and oversee successful launches.
- Contribute hands-on to architectural design, implementation, testing, and deployment operations.
- Mentor teammates through actionable feedback, growth opportunities, and stretch goals.
- Guide technical decisions and ensure quality through a mix of unit, integration, and E2E testing.
- Collaborate with Engineering Leadership to evolve internal processes and the tech stack.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lead Software Engineer or Engineering Manager in a fast-paced product-centric business.
- Full product lifecycle experience and ability to work effectively with business stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of architecture, programming patterns, TDD, and unit testing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining complex ideas to non-engineering teammates.
- Ability to work from the London HQ 3 days per week.
Nice to have
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Experience with A/B testing and feature flags.
