What you will do

• Develop core functionality for customer-facing and internal products, data platforms, and e-commerce capabilities.
• Design and build extensible platforms and architectures to efficiently launch new products and business lines.
• Create and maintain integrations with third-party systems.
• Develop APIs powering the web and mobile platforms for the product portfolio.
• Own the end-to-end development cycle, from scoping and architectural design to production deployment and operations.
• Collaborate with software engineers, designers, QAs, product managers, and domain experts.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a software engineer or equivalent.
• Must be based in Sofia (BG) or London (UK) for a hybrid work arrangement (3 days/week in office).
• Proficiency with scalable cloud architectures, design patterns, and best practices.
• Practical experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-code (IaC).
• Experience with relational databases, search engines, and data management practices.
• Expertise in TDD and testable code, including unit, integration, and performance testing.

Nice to have

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience building highly reliable cloud systems supporting millions of users 24/7.
• Familiarity with modern JS frameworks.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams.
