What you will do
- Design, code, and deploy control plane services for one of the world's largest networks.
- Implement optimizations for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Gather requirements and select technologies to build infrastructure services from the ground up.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical design reviews.
- Collaborate with security experts and network engineers to ensure high standards of safety.
Requirements
- 6+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience leading design or architecture of reliable and scalable systems.
- Proven experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Proficiency in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and operations.
- Must be based in Dublin, Ireland.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience with Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
- Background in routing protocols and networking.
