Data Analyst (Fintech)

TL;DR

Data Analyst (Fintech): Building and owning marketplace performance reporting to drive conversion and revenue growth with an accent on experimentation and deep-dive analyses. Focus on improving ranking, user journeys, and influencing product and commercial strategy through data-driven insights.

Location: Hybrid (Cape Town, South Africa). Minimum 2-3 days per week in-office depending on internal level.

What you will do

• Build and own marketplace performance reporting covering conversion, eligibility, and revenue.
• Partner with Product and Commercial teams to generate insights that shape marketplace strategy.
• Design and analyze experiments to optimize ranking, user journeys, and overall conversion.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover growth opportunities throughout the marketplace funnel.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL and Excel.
• Strong quantitative and numerical skills.
• Ability to plan and prioritize individual and team workloads.
• Location: Must be based in Cape Town to adhere to the hybrid office schedule.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of dbt and Python.
• Experience with analytical tools like Amplitude.
• Experience using Domo, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
