Legal Summer Associate (Logistics)

Legal Summer Associate (Logistics): Supporting the Legal, Regulatory, and Policy Team with research and project management across multiple jurisdictions with an accent on aviation, corporate, and healthcare law. Focus on conducting legal surveys, drafting commercial contracts, and analyzing the impact of new legislation on autonomous logistics operations.

Location: In-person at South San Francisco or Dallas office. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

What you will do

• Manage research projects in corporate, aviation, international, privacy, and healthcare landscapes across various states and countries.
• Build and maintain a internal knowledge base of legal information, memoranda, and templates.
• Support corporate governance, equity administration, and investor relations tasks.
• Draft and review vendor, supplier, and other commercial contracts.
• Analyze the legal and policy impacts of new legislation on the company's mission.
• Coordinate with public authorities for corporate filings and formalities.

Requirements

• Current 1L or 2L law student at an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research and writing skills with the ability to dive into unfamiliar legal issues.
• Analytical rigor and high attention to detail for work product feedback.
• Strong organizational skills to effectively manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without need for employer-sponsored authorization.
