What you will do

• Lead the Rust Language steering group and evolve coding standards and development practices.
• Write and maintain safety-critical Rust and C++ code for autonomy, firmware, and avionics.
• Pair daily with software engineers to improve workflows and enforce technical guidelines.
• Drive enhancements to CI/CD, build, and testing pipelines to optimize development flow.
• Collaborate across the organization to deliver reliable and fast development workflows.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software development at engineering-led companies.
• Deep expertise in writing and maintaining safety-critical Rust or C++ code.
• Strong understanding of embedded execution environments, specifically Nvidia Orin or Thor.
• Proven ability to develop and enforce coding guidelines across diverse technical teams.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite at the South San Francisco HQ.
