Location: In-person at South San Francisco or Dallas office

What you will do

• Develop containerized services that generate spatial planning artifacts for drone flight.
• Optimize path planning algorithms to ensure fast and reliable routing.
• Utilize GeoData tools to visualize and evaluate land features impacting serviceability.
• Build systems for instantaneous geo-indexing and geo-accessing of spatial constraints.
• Create data transformation pipelines for flight data analytics.
• Adapt spatial planning to different cost models and infrastructure for cost-based search.

Requirements

• Completed at least the second year of Undergraduate studies (Masters and PhD students are also eligible).
• Proficient coding skills in Python.
• Deep understanding of algorithmic optimization, particularly applied to robotics motion planning.
• Ability to write clean, modular code with accompanying documentation and automated tests.
• Must be able to work onsite in South San Francisco or Dallas.

Nice to have

• Experience with spatial data.
• Experience supporting or developing novel algorithmic research.
