What you will do

• Develop and enforce security policies and protocols to protect sensitive systems and information from cyber threats.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to identify and mitigate architectural weaknesses.
• Lead incident response efforts for security breaches and develop strategies to mitigate future risks.
• Manage and audit enterprise-wide patching processes.
• Deliver security awareness training to employees to promote internal security best practices.
• Implement and maintain CMMC 2.0 guidelines, DFARS, and NIST 800-171 standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or 5+ years of professional experience as a Security Engineer.
• Proficiency in security tools including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption methods.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, Mac, AWS, Azure, and Office 365 platforms.
• Knowledge of networking best practices, VLANs, and VPN technologies.
• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
• Proficiency in Python or PowerShell.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CEH.
• 5+ years of experience in government-regulated or high-security industries.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and ITAR.
