What you will do

• Design and implement cloud-side autonomy pipelines to support and scale the onboard perception stack.
• Build semantic and geometric world models of delivery zones using satellite imagery and aerial surveys.
• Develop tools to predict deliverability and generate high-fidelity priors to reduce onboarding friction.
• Train and deploy mid- to large-scale models for semantic segmentation, 3D geometry, and learned preference modeling.
• Design evaluation and validation infrastructure to ensure model reliability in the field.
• Lead architectural decisions and integrate perception systems into fleet-facing autonomy.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and deploying deep learning-based perception systems, specifically in 3D geometry or remote sensing.
• Strong understanding of classical computer vision, including camera calibration and structure-from-motion.
• Hands-on experience optimizing CNN and transformer architectures in production environments.
• Engineering mindset focused on delivering shippable outcomes over pure experimentation.
• Experience building training, data annotation, and evaluation pipelines.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in South San Francisco, California, USA
