Salary: $190,000 – $230,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Build and improve source-of-truth systems, APIs, and internal platform interfaces for logistics workflows.
• Own backend work across logistics data quality, shipment state normalization, and observability.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, CX, and Finance to transform messy real-world logistics problems into durable systems.
• Develop tooling, monitoring, and debugging primitives to help teams detect problems earlier.
• Integrate AI into daily engineering workflows to improve quality, learning speed, and execution.

Requirements

• Experience building and owning complex backend or platform systems at a senior scope.
• Strong product judgment and ability to connect technical work to business outcomes and trade-offs.
• Experience with complex marketplace, delivery, fulfillment, or post-purchase systems.
• Strong instincts regarding data quality, source-of-truth systems, and operational debugging.
• Must be based in or within commuting distance of Los Angeles, CA.

Nice to have

• Experience in adjacent domains like rideshare coordination, food delivery, or marketplace fulfillment.
• Direct experience with logistics, shipping, or fulfillment systems.
• Experience working on a two-sided marketplace platform.
