What you will do
- Write, edit, and format bespoke proposal documents for public sector opportunities.
- Manage tender deadlines and ensure all submissions meet client specifications and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain a library of standard responses, case studies, and templates.
- Analyze tender documents to identify key requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Collaborate with sales, technical, and operational teams to gather accurate information.
- Prepare presentations for Sales Managers to support post-submission interviews.
Requirements
- Previous bid writing or similar experience.
- Must be based in England (Home-based with occasional travel).
- Strong research, interpretation, and editing skills.
- Proficiency in all MS Office applications.
- Strong academic background (Degree in English, History, Psychology or similar, or relevant GCSEs).
Nice to have
- Industry experience in Builders Merchants or similar.
- Public Sector knowledge, specifically Local Authority bidding.
- Bid qualifications such as APMP, Shipley or equivalent.
- Experience with CRM or Database systems.
