Salary: $175,000 – $250,000 per year

What you will do

• Own accounting, payroll, tax filing, invoicing, and expense management via QuickBooks.
• Direct the preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and year-end consolidated financial statements.
• Establish and monitor accounting policies, internal controls, and systems.
• Coordinate external audits of the consolidated financial statements and notes.
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with legislation regarding marketplaces and remote-first companies.
• Provide comprehensive financial reporting and analysis to management and internal/external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States (no visa sponsorship available).
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
• Expert knowledge of US GAAP principles and advanced proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Experience in growth-stage startups, eCommerce, or marketplaces.
• Proven ability to implement and maintain Internal Control over Financial Reporting.
