What you will do

• Lead the design, architecture, and delivery of complex product initiatives across web and mobile platforms.
• Build and enhance React and React Native applications used by tens of thousands of veterinary professionals.
• Set engineering standards, drive code quality, and ensure strong test coverage across the codebase.
• Develop scalable components, shared libraries, and architectural patterns to support team productivity.
• Mentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and influence engineering direction across multiple teams.
• Partner with the CTO and leadership to design secure, performant features and optimize data models.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with production-grade systems.
• Must be based in the USA.
• No visa sponsorship available.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React, and architecting large-scale front-end applications.
• Deep expertise in at least one modern programming language (Python/Django used in stack).
• Proven ability to design scalable systems, APIs, and optimize relational database queries.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
