What you will do

• Prepare and maintain financial statements in compliance with Japanese accounting standards.
• Reconcile exchange accounts, bank accounts, and crypto wallets to ensure accurate reporting.
• Manage accounting for cryptocurrency transactions, including trades and wallet movements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls and assist with internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with Japanese financial regulations (FSA) and tax laws.
• Analyze financial performance to identify cost-saving and revenue optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance; CPA certification preferred.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong proficiency in English and Japanese (written and verbal).
• Deep technical accounting knowledge and experience in fast-paced environments.
• Expertise in Japanese tax laws and regulatory requirements for cryptocurrencies.
