TL;DR

Senior Reliability Engineer (Medtech): Developing and conducting technical reliability studies and risk analysis for medical devices with an accent on design of experiments (DOE) and statistical process control. Focus on optimizing product reliability, conducting risk analysis of new designs, and ensuring compliance with governmental agency objectives.

Location: Irvine, California, USA. Must be able to work onsite minimum 4 days a week

Salary: $106,400 - $159,600

What you will do

  • Develop and conduct technical reliability studies and design of experiments (DOE) for engineering concepts.
  • Recommend design methods and statistical process control procedures to meet reliability standards.
  • Perform comprehensive risk analysis studies for new designs and processes.
  • Analyze performance reports and process control statistics to investigate variables affecting product quality.
  • Build reliability engineering programs to achieve company and governmental agency objectives.
  • Propose design or formulation changes to improve overall system and process reliability.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree with 4+ years of experience, Master's with 2+ years, or a PhD.
  • Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is only available for Principal-level roles and above).
  • Ability to work onsite in Irvine, CA at least 4 days per week.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Neurovascular or other vascular devices.
  • Experience with end-to-end design control.
  • Experience with Class III medical devices.
