TL;DR

Accounting and Administration Manager (Finance): Managing accounting operations and administrative supervision for the Laval division with an accent on financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite in Laval, QC / 2 days remote)

What you will do

  • Supervise all accounting and financial operations, including accounts receivable, payable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results for the division.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, and cost control.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Manage treasury activities, foreign exchange contracts, capital expenditure, and ISO standards.
  • Produce analytical and comparative reports for senior management and participate in audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (specifically SAP) and advanced Excel.
  • Experience in general administration or office management.

Nice to have

  • Professional accounting designation.
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles.
  • Experience in the distribution sector.
  • Proven experience in team management, including supervision and coaching.
