What you will do
- Lead the enterprise-wide event portfolio, including signature experiences such as the Day of Purpose and Purpose Awards.
- Develop and implement event strategies, standards, and operating models to ensure scalability and brand alignment.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives and senior leaders to guide event narratives and experience design.
- Manage end-to-end execution of complex, large-scale events, from project planning and timeline coordination to post-event evaluation.
- Oversee vendor relationships, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and managing production, AV, and catering partners.
- Establish metrics to evaluate engagement and impact, using insights to refine and modernize event delivery.
Requirements
- Must reside in Washington State.
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of corporate event planning experience, specifically including events with 500+ attendees.
- Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and streamline processes for maximum efficiency.
- Experience scaling and reimagining events for organizational growth.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of experience managing project teams or volunteers.
- Professional project management experience.
- Familiarity with DEI principles and the ability to apply a DEI lens to event planning.
