Senior/Staff Software Engineer (AI/Fullstack): Designing and building the Experience Platform to transition from human-driven to agent-driven product experiences with an accent on API design, SDKs, and AI-native interfaces. Focus on pioneering agentic workflows, integrating MCP protocols, and building high-leverage platform capabilities for AI agents.

Location: Must be based in the US (Remote)

Salary: $190,000 – $230,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design interfaces, protocols (MCP), and tooling to optimize how AI agents interact with the platform.
• Ship end-to-end experiences across API, SDK, CLI, and web surfaces, owning the full stack from HTTP layer to UI.
• Build AI-powered workflows and automated quality gates to multiply team output and accelerate development.
• Establish standards and patterns for AI-assisted development using tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to build high-leverage platform capabilities at the right abstraction level.
• Develop observable and auditable systems with robust monitoring, alerting, and verification mechanisms.

Requirements

• Must be based in the USA.
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design and deliver versioned APIs, SDKs, or client libraries.
• Proficiency in building web interfaces with React or similar frameworks.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Hands-on experience integrating AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) into a genuine daily workflow.

Nice to have

• Experience building or consuming MCP servers or designing APIs specifically for agent use cases.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks and patterns for tool use, orchestration, and agent-to-agent communication.
• Strong familiarity with compiled languages such as Rust, Go, or Java.
• Experience with large-scale open-source projects or developing database/query engine SDKs.
