Location: 100% remote; must be a resident of Ohio or live within 25 miles of Ohio

Salary: $31 – $34 per hour (Approx. $64,480 – $70,720 annually)

What you will do

• Evaluate assignments for Prealgebra, Algebra, Geometry, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics with comprehensive feedback.
• Host weekly virtual group tutoring and office hours to clarify concepts and offer support.
• Serve as an Academic Advisor for a caseload of up to 30 students, conducting regular check-ins.
• Identify struggling students and implement tiered support solutions in collaboration with Academic Counselors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for parents and students regarding academic matters.
• Contribute to school-wide academic policies and lead extracurricular clubs or activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Secondary Education, or a related field.
• Ohio teaching certification or the ability to obtain it.
• At least 3 years of full-time experience teaching high school math in the US, including Algebra I and II.
• Must currently live in Ohio, within 25 miles of Ohio, or be willing to relocate to Ohio.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to learn new education platforms.
• Willingness to use AI tools to increase efficiency in the education sector.

Nice to have

• Online teaching experience.
• Licensure or experience in special education.
• Ability and willingness to attend some in-person field trips and activities in Ohio.
