What you will do

• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with senior technical and executive stakeholders across strategic accounts.
• Partner with customers operating at significant scale to ensure their systems perform reliably under production load.
• Serve as the resident Postgres expert for your accounts, leading architectural reviews and resolving complex performance bottlenecks.
• Guide customers through hirify.global's enterprise security capabilities and compliance requirements.
• Guide strategic customers through migrations onto Postgres and hirify.global from various source systems.
• Partner with customers building AI-native applications on hirify.global, advising on vector storage architecture and similarity search optimization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Database Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on large-scale or enterprise-grade systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of PostgreSQL, including internals, performance tuning, and schema design.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex database migrations from various source systems.
• Familiarity with AI application architecture, including vector databases and similarity search.
• Experience supporting or architecting systems at significant scale with high-throughput and high-availability workloads.
• Working knowledge of enterprise security and compliance requirements, including Row Level Security, SOC 2, and HIPAA.

Nice to have

• Experience with pgvector or similar vector storage solutions.
• Experience with self-hosted or BYO cloud infrastructure deployments.
• Strong background in web application development with familiarity across Python, C#, and popular JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Svelte) and Node.js.
• Experience with HubSpot, BigQuery, or similar revenue and analytics tooling.
