What you will do

• Manage day-to-day operations and provide direct leadership to the technical team, including setting priorities and workload distribution.
• Facilitate performance reviews, provide regular 1-1 feedback, and support professional development for team members.
• Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, operational teams, and suppliers to manage technical requirements.
• Oversee technical documentation processes, including HLDs, LLDs, and acceptance testing (SIT/SAT/UAT).
• Handle resource management and resolve complex or sensitive issues within the technical environment.
• Ensure adherence to legislative requirements, including Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR.

Requirements

• Experience in technical management, software development processes, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in client/server architectures and compatibility requirements.
• Knowledge of data retention obligations and relevant UK legislation (e.g., IPA 2016, GDPR).
• Ability to work under pressure and manage tight project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder management at all levels.
