What you will do

• Drive the end-to-end design, configuration, and continuous improvement of core Workday modules.
• Architect, build, and optimize scalable integrations, custom reports, and advanced security models.
• Partner with People Operations, Payroll, and Finance teams to deliver system enhancements and automate processes.
• Support internationalization efforts and mergers and acquisitions by leading data migration and onboarding workflows.
• Develop and implement AI-enabled solutions within HR systems to boost operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Workday (HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits).
• Proven track record in architectural and design leadership within Workday ecosystems.
• Proficiency in Workday Studio, custom integration patterns (SOAP/REST/WQL), and security models.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical configurations.
• Must be able to work from the Menlo Park, CA office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday Extend, Orchestrations, and Prism.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows.
• Track record of building AI-enabled automations.
