Salary: $200,000–$235,000 CAD

What you will do

• Design large-scale infrastructure systems, making trade-offs for risk and long-term maintainability.
• Drive proactive optimizations and improvements for container provisioning APIs and Kubernetes control plane.
• Set technical direction for complex projects while mentoring and up-leveling junior team members.
• Lead organization-wide collaboration to support reliable platform integration for product teams.
• Contribute to open-source projects related to Kubernetes and distributed systems.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes control plane and data plane components.
• Proven experience managing and debugging large-scale infrastructure services in production.
• Thorough understanding of container lifecycle management and multi-cluster networking (e.g., CNI).
• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems in high-growth environments.
• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end technical projects with long-term impact.
• Must be able to work from the Toronto office at least 3 days per week.

• Prior experience scaling Kubernetes platforms at high-growth startups.
• Active contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects.
