Location: Remote-first; must be legally authorized to work in United States, Canada, Australia, South Africa, United Kingdom, Zambia, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia, Finland, Sweden, or Botswana.
Salary: $170,000–$230,000 (US base)

What you will do
- Design, build, and operate scalable and reliable compute infrastructure for critical services.
- Partner with engineering teams to embed observability, reliability, and security into the software development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain automation for monitoring, deployments, and incident response.
- Manage shared tools such as JupyterHub in a multi-user environment.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident resolution and system performance tuning.
- Establish disaster recovery practices and investigate points of fragility in distributed systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
- Proven experience with IaC (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
- Experience with MLOps workflows, model training, and related tooling.
- Must be authorized to work in one of the approved countries (US, CA, AU, ZA, UK, ZM, CD, NA, FI, SE, BW).
