Salary: $170,000–$230,000 (US base)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable and reliable compute infrastructure for critical services.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed observability, reliability, and security into the software development lifecycle.
• Create and maintain automation for monitoring, deployments, and incident response.
• Manage shared tools such as JupyterHub in a multi-user environment.
• Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident resolution and system performance tuning.
• Establish disaster recovery practices and investigate points of fragility in distributed systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or similar.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Proven experience with IaC (Terraform) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Experience with MLOps workflows, model training, and related tooling.
• Must be authorized to work in one of the approved countries (US, CA, AU, ZA, UK, ZM, CD, NA, FI, SE, BW).
