What you will do

• Audit and evolve the existing design system to create scalable patterns, components, and guidelines.
• Re-build and maintain web and mobile component libraries in Figma.
• Partner with engineers to translate components into production-ready code.
• Align design system roadmaps with broader product and engineering priorities.
• Design specific product features when existing system components require extension.

Requirements

• Based in the SF Bay Area with availability to work in the Redwood City office ~4 days per week.
• 3-5+ years of product design experience with a focus on design systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including variants, tokens, and auto layout.
• Understanding of how design systems bridge to frontend implementation via CSS and React.
• Experience with both web and mobile design best practices.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, shifting startup environment.

Nice to have

• Technical skills including ability to write frontend code and build simple components.
• Experience building design systems from scratch in an early-stage startup.
• Background in B2B SaaS with complex, data-heavy interfaces.
