What you will do

• Review video, audio, and chat patient encounters to ensure documentation completeness.
• Apply precise CPT and ICD-10 codes in alignment with federal, state, and MCO guidelines.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to obtain necessary documentation clarifications.
• Analyze coding patterns to identify and recommend process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with evolving Medicaid rules and billing requirements.

Requirements

• Must be a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or hold an equivalent certification.
• 5+ years of experience in medical coding, specifically in OB/GYN, pediatrics, therapy, or nutrition.
• Proficiency in EHR systems, with recent experience in Athena preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and Medicaid coding regulations.
• Experience in telehealth or asynchronous coding environments is highly preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
