What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable system architecture for payment orchestrators and global processors.
• Oversee end-to-end production health, including monitoring, automated reconciliation, and incident response.
• Perform high-quality code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, security standards, and maintainability.
• Drive the integration of third-party gateways and alternative payment methods across diverse global markets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with QA and product teams to plan technical deliverables and iterate on product features.
• Mentor team members and facilitate technical discussions to foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering environment.

Requirements

• Solid experience in Java development and deep understanding of JVM internals.
• Excellent system design skills with a focus on scalable, high-performance architectures.
• Proficiency in relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, with expertise in query optimization.
• Strong understanding of messaging concepts and the Kafka ecosystem.
• AI-native mindset: documented hands-on expertise leveraging AI tools for system design and engineering productivity.
• English: Upper-intermediate proficiency (B2+) required for technical communication.

• Leadership experience in mentoring developers and managing technical initiatives.
