What you will do

• Design and deliver clean, scalable, and testable Java-based backend services.
• Leverage AI tools and assistants throughout the entire development lifecycle, from system design to code review.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend, web, mobile, QA, and product teams.
• Take architectural ownership of specific functional areas within a large-scale system.
• Ensure high test coverage and system reliability in a high-load production environment.
• Continuously improve engineering practices using modern, AI-augmented workflows.

Requirements

• Extensive production experience with Java and its ecosystem.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL) and messaging systems (Kafka).
• Strong system design, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities.
• Proactive proficiency in using AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) as a productivity multiplier.
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher required.
• Alignment with an AI-first engineering culture; resistance to AI-assisted workflows is not compatible with this role.
