Platform Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Platform Engineer (Fintech): Designing and maintaining high-performance, scalable infrastructure systems for a quantitative investment platform with an accent on Linux, cloud architecture, and automation. Focus on building and optimizing mission-critical CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and network infrastructure to support research and real-time trading.

Location: Must work from our New York City office at minimum 3 days a week.

Salary: $195,000–$225,000

What you will do

• Design, implement, and deliver scalable and performant infrastructure systems.
• Develop and maintain automation for CI/CD pipelines and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with engineers and researchers to build efficient and reliable system solutions.
• Manage capacity and perform benchmark optimizations for trading and research workloads.
• Maintain stability of mission-critical platform systems through day-to-day operational support.

Requirements

• Experience with systems programming or software engineering.
• Practical experience debugging and improving production systems.
• Proficiency with Linux and open-source software.
• Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
• Production experience with public cloud platforms, specifically AWS.
• Specialized knowledge in at least one area: HPC, Trading, CI/CD, Kubernetes, or Networking.
