Location: Must be based in or able to commute to New York City (Hybrid, min. 3 days/week)

Salary: $140,000 – $200,000

What you will do

• Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for partners and associated entities.
• Handle tax, estate, and cash flow planning for firm members and internal investors.
• Develop financial statements for closely-held entities and book monthly transactions.
• Conduct tax planning research, including R&D credit analysis and nexus threshold monitoring.
• Review annual filings for Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI).
• Identify opportunities to improve tax compliance processes and financial reporting.

Requirements

• 4-8+ years of tax accounting experience.
• Must be able to work from the New York City office at least 3 days a week.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with database applications.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.

Nice to have

• CPA or EA certification.
• Previous experience in the hedge fund or financial services industry.
