What you will do

• Lead and grow a high-impact team of data scientists focused on Trust & Safety challenges.
• Drive the overall detection data science strategy encompassing analytics, experimentation, and machine learning.
• Oversee the development, deployment, and performance of models identifying malicious users and risky behaviors at scale.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to align on roadmaps, strategy, and business goals.
• Define success metrics and ensure projects deliver measurable value for the platform and members.
• Maintain high quality standards in modelling, documentation, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Proven experience leading and growing teams in high-impact machine learning problem spaces.
• Strong applied background in machine learning including techniques like NLP, computer vision, or GenAI.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for working with large datasets in production environments.
• Experience in detection, fraud, abuse, risk, or adversarial problem spaces.
• Ability to connect technical decisions to user impact and broader business goals.

• Experience navigating ambiguity in fast-paced production environments.
• Pragmatic communication skills to explain complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
