Location: Hybrid work environment, with expectation for local hirify.globalns (Sydney) to be in office min. twice per week.

Salary: $119,000 to $140,000 to $161,000 AUD

What you will do

• Work with a newly established team of developers to solve complex problems and provide elegant solutions for hirify.global customers within APAC.
• Tackle a variety of software engineering projects as a full stack developer in an agile environment.
• Participate in diverse projects and collaborate with multiple engineering teams across the globe.
• Review and provide feedback on code, both from within your own team or across all of hirify.global.
• Collaborate with teams across hirify.global to diagnose, understand, and solve problems, and to build solutions that may span many areas.
• Participate in the hiring and onboarding of engineers, helping them to succeed as new members of the hirify.global team.

Requirements

• Experience in software development, specifically with building web applications at scale and Ruby on Rails.
• The ability to master new technologies quickly and work effectively in a dynamic and ever-evolving environment that includes distributed teams and customers.
• Demonstrated success in mentorship in software development, particularly using an Agile process and with large scale SaaS products.
• Database optimization experience.
• Experience working with large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with fellow hirify.globalns and customers.
