Senior DevOps Engineer (FedRAMP)

Senior DevOps Engineer (FedRAMP): Orchestrating and securing the deployment of identity and security products within a highly regulated federal environment with an accent on Azure Government Cloud and FedRAMP compliance. What you will do

• Improve build/release pipelines and GitOps workflows across the FedRAMP boundary.
• Architect and operate Azure Government Cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Manage AKS clusters with Istio, secure networking, and Zero Trust models (PIM/RBAC).
• Maintain compliant CI/CD pipelines and automation scripts aligned with FedRAMP controls.
• Oversee observability systems including Open Telemetry, Azure Monitor, and Prometheus/Grafana.
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams on annual assessments and continuous monitoring.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Prior experience working in FedRAMP Moderate or High environments.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience.
• Proficiency with Terraform/Terragrunt, AKS, Helm, Istio, Argo CD, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of NIST 80053 and federal security controls.

Nice to have

• Experience with Zero Trust architecture, PIM, and RBAC.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Go.
• Familiarity with Kafka, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Experience with Azure API Management, Logic Apps, and Cosmos DB performance tuning.
