What you will do

• Evolve and own the information security program, ensuring alignment with SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients on security topics, supporting RFPs and security questionnaires.
• Design risk management frameworks and mitigate security risks across internal systems and third-party vendors.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audit and certification processes.
• Embed privacy-by-design principles into product development through close collaboration with Engineering and Product teams.
• Support incident response and continuously improve security detection and prevention capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Proven experience managing security frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and data privacy regulations.
• Strong understanding of risk management, cloud security, and application security principles.
• Ability to work onsite in Boston, Menlo Park, or Santiago 4 days a week.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort building processes from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
