What you will do

• Provide end-to-end technical support for Okta, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Support identity access management systems using LDAP, SSO, SAML, and WS-Fed protocols.
• Develop and maintain Java backend services and JavaScript frontend applications.
• Build scripts and user scenarios with Okta APIs and SDKs to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Document bugs and API or product issues for Engineering teams and provide feedback to training and documentation teams.
• Deliver customer support through written communication, live chat, conference calls, and in-person interactions while supporting 24/7 operations in a three-shift environment.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Okta support.
• Mandatory Okta certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in customer and technical support.
• Strong identity access management experience with LDAP, SSO, SAML, or WS-Fed.
• Proficiency in Java for backend development and JavaScript for frontend development.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, customer service, and communication skills, with willingness to support 24/7 operations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Okta APIs and SDKs.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking and documentation tools.
• Experience using prompts and coding agents such as Claude, Cursor, or Copilot.
