• Design and maintain high-scale web crawling and data ingestion pipelines.
• Develop systems for data filtering, deduplication, and quality control.
• Execute data ablation experiments to evaluate sources, rewrites, and mixtures.
• Optimize distributed data processing systems to improve throughput and reduce costs.
• Enhance observability and reliability across complex ETL and dataflow pipelines.
• Partner with research and training systems teams to align data strategies with model behavior.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Proven experience building and operating large-scale distributed data systems.
• Ability to design and interpret practical data ablation experiments.
• Capacity to make effective decisions under compute, storage, and cost constraints.
• Strong systems intuition focused on reliability and scale.
• Track record of owning production systems end-to-end.
