Investment Advisor, Greater China (VP/ED)

What you will do

• Provide premium investment advisory to Private Banking clients and formulate strategies aligned with strategic asset allocations, investment objectives, and risk profiles.
• Communicate in-house investment views to marketing teams and collaborate with product specialists on support and training.
• Partner with Relationship Managers in client meetings, articulate investment ideas, create proposals, and conduct portfolio reviews.
• Generate product ideas and solutions by monitoring market products and promoting ideas approved by the Product Council.
• Develop, monitor, and follow up on trading ideas across cash equities, bonds, FX, and structured products, including ELNs, KODAs/DEKODAs, equity options, and range accrual notes.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and policies.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in the financial industry in an investment advisory position.
• Strong knowledge of products across asset classes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and strategic-thinking skills.
• Future-oriented mindset with the ability to innovate and adapt to change.
• Understanding of team interdependencies and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining empathetic, passionate, and resilient.
• Chinese proficiency is required because the role involves working with Chinese clients.
