What you will do

• Develop and maintain the proxy stack based on Nginx and OpenResty.
• Resolve complex technical issues and bugs across distributed systems.
• Debug and profile low-level Linux system runtime and networking stacks.
• Collaborate with the team on product strategy and technical delivery for hirify.global Gateway.
• Contribute high-quality code to both hirify.global Gateway OSS and Enterprise versions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in computer operating systems and Linux networking.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.
• Deep hands-on experience in Linux systems troubleshooting and profiling.
• Proficiency with low-level debugging tools such as gdb, systemtap, tcpdump, and crash.
• Experience with public cloud providers including AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with NGINX/OpenResty service development.
• Proficiency in Lua, C, or Rust (LuaJIT experience is a plus).
• Experience with Kubernetes and hirify.global Ingress Controller.
• Background in developing large-scale distributed enterprise software.
