Senior Full Stack Engineer (Core UX, Europe)

Location: Remote in Europe

Salary: $80,000–$165,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Refine existing product functionality and improve the everyday user experience.
• Ensure consistency in layout, interactions, responsiveness, and visual presentation across the product.
• Implement performance improvements that directly affect end users.
• Build scalable backend solutions in collaboration with full-stack, data, ML, and DevOps engineers.
• Experiment, measure results, and iterate quickly on complex problems.
• Drive projects to completion with ownership and proactive communication.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, ideally focused on improving and polishing product functionality.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework, preferably React.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python; strong candidates from other object-oriented backgrounds are also considered.
• Experience with serverless technologies such as Lambda and EC2, asynchronous workflows, and cloud environments.
• Comfort with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, debugging, problem-solving, ownership, and proactive communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs or generative AI.
• Experience with distributed systems.
