What you will do

• Partner with trading teams to analyze trade performance and link PnL metrics with infrastructure measurements.
• Develop and maintain quantitative research frameworks and mathematical methodologies for exchange performance modeling.
• Design innovative alert detection algorithms to identify business opportunities and performance degradation.
• Build and enrich complex datasets to drive data-informed decision-making.
• Identify relationships between business metrics and changes in infrastructure technology.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of programming experience in Python focused on data science and analytics.
• Strong background in statistics and data intuition.
• Must be based in Shanghai.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate findings to technical and senior leadership audiences.
• Proven ability to independently drive tasks and projects to completion.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL for data querying.
• Practical experience with machine learning techniques.
• Understanding of network protocols like IP, UDP, TCP, and Ethernet.
