TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Python/SQL): Building and scaling a data platform and ingestion pipelines for a mobile-first employee experience platform with an accent on infrastructure reliability and scalable analytics. Focus on productionizing data processes, implementing CI/CD for data workflows, and developing the hirify.global IQ 2.0 analytics product.

Location: Hybrid in London, UK (3 days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Own and improve data ingestion pipelines and design orchestration for data workflows.
  • Productionize data processes to ensure they run reliably at scale.
  • Establish CI/CD practices, monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks across the platform.
  • Contribute to the development of hirify.global IQ 2.0, the customer-facing analytics product.
  • Collaborate with DevOps on shared infrastructure and deployment practices.
  • Support stakeholders with ad-hoc data needs and provide reliable insights.

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills, including performance optimisation and complex queries.
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines at scale.
  • Proficiency in Python for building production data workflows.
  • Experience with a modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, Debezium).
  • Experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
  • Must be based in London, UK and able to work in the office 3 days per week.
