About the Role
You will assist the Global Sanctions Compliance Manager and Senior Global Sanctions Compliance Analyst by performing first level review, analysis, and adjudication of watchlist alerts. You will conduct sanctions investigations, assess potentially fraudulent activity, escalate complex cases to Level 2, support special projects, help automate processes, and contribute to creating training materials and operating procedures.
Requirements
- College degree
- 1-3 years of AML, sanctions, or testing experience
- Entry-level experience with third-party automated screening tools
- Familiarity with Google Suite products
- Familiarity with Microsoft Suite products
- Strong time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work across regions and business units
- Ability to work in a changing industry and adapt to shifting demands
- Organizational skills
- Crypto experience a plus
- CAMS or CGSS certification a plus
- Experience with MSBs a plus
Responsibilities
- Adhere to applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain an understanding of global sanctions regulations
- Execute daily duties related to global sanctions programs
- Perform initial alert adjudication and investigations from automated screening tools
- Escalate alerts and complex cases to Level 2 analysts as needed
- Identify and escalate issues impacting alert quality
- Take appropriate action on accounts that match sanctioned individuals or entities
- Collaborate with teams to develop effective testing strategies
- Follow up with appropriate channels when problems are found
- Propose and discuss solutions with management
- Assist in automating compliance processes and improving internal workflows
- Support creation of training materials and operating procedures
- Contribute to a team-oriented and collaborative environment
- Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
