Senior Backend Developer (Golang, Data & Integrations)

Location: Hybrid role with onsite work required at the Rotterdam office. Candidates must already be in the Netherlands or be open to relocating there. A valid EU work permit is required.

What you will do

• Design and implement ETL flows and data migrations for billing, contracts, and assets, including validation and rollback strategies.
• Build scalable Go backend services, abstraction layers, REST APIs, and gRPC APIs that enforce billing and product rules.
• Model complex customer, product, pricing, and asset data structures across legacy and target systems.
• Integrate ERP, CRM, payment, inventory, and other external platforms with secure and reliable data exchange.
• Create migration tooling, automation, monitoring, dashboards, alerting, and operational runbooks.
• Collaborate with Finance, Product, Business Analysts, and developers while contributing to architecture and mentoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building production systems with Go, .NET, or PHP, with Go as the primary language.
• Experience with SQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL, and complex database schemas.
• Experience designing data transformations, idempotent migration scripts, ETL pipelines, and validation tooling.
• Experience building REST or gRPC APIs and using OAuth2 or JWT authentication.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, unit, integration, and contract testing.
• Valid EU work permit and availability for hybrid work in Rotterdam are required.
