Analytics Engineer (Power BI)

TL;DR

Analytics Engineer (Power BI): Design, develop, and maintain BI reporting solutions using Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate technical specs. Location: Must reside within reasonable commuting distance of Denver, CO, as this role requires on-site presence at least three days per week.

Salary: $90,000 to $117,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain BI reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate technical specifications.
• Develop and execute database queries and perform analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports for specified projects.
• Evaluate, improve, and optimize current reporting.
• Maintain data connectivity and refresh schedules for all Power BI reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Certification in Power BI.
• Proven experience as a Power BI Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and Power Automate.
• Experience with advanced data visualization techniques.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data.

Nice to have

• Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with Snowflake, Rivery, dbt, or Azure Data Factory.
• Experience with Power BI Copilot or other AI assisted reporting tools.
