Software Developer (Java)

TL;DR

Software Developer (Java): Designing and building technology solutions for internal and external clients with an accent on systems strategy, development, integration, and product enhancements. Focus on solving complex technical problems across architecture, development, and infrastructure in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office).

Salary: €3,500–€4,600 gross.

What you will do

• Define and deliver IT solution designs aligned with business goals.
• Translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Design, develop, and enhance applications focusing on performance and usability.
• Mentor team members on design, development, and testing standards.

Requirements

• Solid hands-on software development experience.
• Strong Java 11+ skills.
• Proficiency with databases, SQL, and building scalable services.
• Experience with REST APIs, messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ), and microservices architecture.
• Competence in Git, CI/CD, and Linux environments.
• Must be able to work from the Vilnius office at least 3 days a week.

Nice to have

• Financial industry experience (banking, trading, clearing).
• Experience with Wildfly/RedHat EAP.
• Proficiency with JIRA and TeamCity.
