What you will do

• Build the infrastructure function from scratch and lead platform strategy as the first dedicated hire.
• Transform existing infrastructure into a mature platform with clear service maps and ownership structures.
• Scale Terraform and Kubernetes architecture to support modular IaC and standardized deployments.
• Implement comprehensive observability systems including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Manage security practices, access control, and secrets management to protect business assets.
• Optimize data infrastructure pipelines to support analytics and scalable business decision-making.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial experience in Infrastructure or DevOps roles.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Helm, and GCP environment management.
• Expertise in Terraform and IaC modular architecture.
• Proven ability to build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines and observability tools.
• Strong background in security, access control, and secrets management.
• Proficiency in production-level coding (Python/Bash) with a capability to contribute to Node.js backend code.

Nice to have

• Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines.
• Knowledge of FinOps practices for infrastructure cost optimization and budgeting.
