What you will do

• Improve and establish observability, monitoring, and alerting for critical production services.
• Handle critical alerts and incidents while collaborating with R&D to optimize system availability.
• Identify root causes for incidents and drive long-term prevention strategies.
• Document and automate manual operational tasks using Python, shell scripts, and Ansible.
• Support R&D teams by providing guidance on integration, monitoring, and infrastructure best practices.
• Conduct periodic on-call duties and emergency response to ensure platform stability.

Requirements

• Must be located in the United States
• 3+ years of experience as an SRE or Backend Infrastructure Engineer in a SaaS environment
• Proficiency in coding languages including Python, JavaScript, and Bash
• Extensive experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as DataDog, Splunk, or Prometheus
• Strong background in Linux systems, cloud platforms like AWS, and configuration management tools
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm

Nice to have

• Previous professional experience in cryptocurrencies or blockchain technologies
• In-depth knowledge of Linux optimization, Nginx, and MySQL
• Experience participating in large-scale Kubernetes migration projects
• Background as a C++ or Node developer
• Computer Science degree or related technical certifications
